In 2016, on the 40th anniversary of its founding, the Geneva-based Manufacture caused a sensation in the watchmaking world by introducing, for the first and only time in its history, two limited editions of the Nautilus, respectively references 5976/1G and 5711/1P as the current object. Both models feature the discreet embossed logo with the inscription "40 1976-2016." Their dials are also enhanced by diamond baguette-set hour markers. While the 5976 in white gold was produced in 1,200 pieces, the 5711 in platinum was made in an even more coveted quantity of only 700 pieces. Like other modern models, the 5711P has its case adorned with a discreet diamond at 6 o'clock, a signature that confirms the use of the most precious metal.
The watch is powered by the famous automatic caliber 324 SC. The movement is composed of no less than 217 different parts, including the central rotor made of 21-carat gold. It is hand-finished to the highest standards, decorated with cotes de Genève and bears the Patek Philippe seal.
