ROLEX 6263 BROWN

02-1

We are in the early 1970s , continually striving for improvement from a waterproof point of view.

The house with the pentastyle brand "ROLEX" introduces some changes from previous pump-button versions, reinstating the use of screw-down pushers and a larger crown, which had already been pioneered on the previous ref. 6240 produced only in steel.

Declared water resistance: - 50 mt (165 feet) until early 1980s c.e.; - 100 mt (330 feet) until end of production, Valjoux movement, caliber 727.

The above ref. "6263", is produced in steel, 14 k gold and 18 k gold, with a standard two-tone dial, featuring the inscription OYSTER guaranteeing water resistance. Models with dials Newman are produced only in the early years. The inscription DAYTONA, introduced only on steel models from about the mid-1970s, is always printed in red and placed along the curvature of the hour counter.

As you all know , ROLEX it has always given us, and continues to give us, all this, shrouded in a mystery that makes you dream.

Adding to the description, as if reality were approaching the fairy tale in a world full of colors, appears the brown turned dial of the 6263 above in vision . We do not know what has happened over the years, we can only contemplate this specimen of extreme beauty and rarity. We attach a chart showing the value of a standard watch ref. 6263 in steel , going back in history to the present day.
