Patek Philippe Nautilus 5980/1A Blue fullset. This is a Patek Philippe Nautilus chronograph in 5980/1A-001 stainless steel. It has a stainless steel fullset bracelet with double deployant clasp and a scratch-resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The 44 mm by 38.5 mm cushion-shaped case, flat geometric bezel and bracelet are polished/brushed. It has a screw-down crown, protected rectangular chronograph pushers, and a transparent sapphire crystal case back. The chronograph incorporates a fly back function: the pusher activates it at 2 o'clock and the reset/fly back is performed by the pusher at 4 o'clock. The dial is Blue with horizontal textured stripes, applied luminescent baton hour markers and white gold Superluminova luminescent baton hands with a central chronograph/seconds hand. It has a 1/5-second and outer minute track and a large instant date window at the 3 o'clock position. The silver/blue Monocounter auxiliary dial for the 30-minute/60-minute and 12-hour totalizer combination is at the 6 o'clock position. The outermost 30 minutes are indicated by black minute markers, the second 60 minutes are indicated by an inner track of red minute markers, and a darker inner circle records 12-hour increments. It is water resistant to 120 meters/400 feet and has a power reserve of 55 hours in full wind. The 13 mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Philippe Nautilus Chronograph 5980/1A-001 has a Patek Philippe caliber 28-520 C self-winding mechanical movement that is rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It is built with 35 jewels, 327 components, a shock-absorbing mechanism and is stamped with the Seal of Geneva seal of quality. It includes a straight-line lever escapement and a Patek patented four-arm Gyromax balance wheel with four inertia blocks adjusted for hot, cold, isochronism and 5 positions. There is a self-compensating Breguet free-sprung balance spring and a 21-carat gold unidirectional rotor with oil-free ball bearing and zirconium balls. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).
