ROLEX 6239 S/S

6239soleil

Rolex 6239 Soleil Dial, incorporating Jumbo Logo and chocolate subsidiary registers.

We have previously talked about the Rolex 6239, but there would still be much more to be said about this splendid object that, like many vintage watches, has undergone numerous changes over time, giving us continuous innovations that make each piece a unique work of art.

The watch in question, published in Di Pucci Papaleo's book "ULTIMATE ROLEX DAYTONA," owes its rarity to brown counters, one of the most beautiful colors known, and chronograph time counters in exceptional condition, characterized by a cut-off perpendicular to the dial (tray counters), and larger size (big eyes).

As for the soundness of the investment in watches, the world is now aware of it. It would be hard to add more if it were not for our passion to keep us talking about something unique.
There is never a right price for these objects, these works of art, the value placed on them is something that almost offends them, and leaves the owner to decide their future.
We could see how much these watches have made in recent auctions: a 6263 in gold Paul Newman has realized more than 3 million euros, and soon there will be the auction of the watch Rolex 6239 with an exotic dial by the same actor, named "Paul Newman" in honor of its owner. Half of the proceeds, estimated at 5 to 10 million Dollars, will go to charity.

Today, watches are one of the best investments the market can offer. Added to this, for us enthusiasts, is the opportunity to study them by treasuring all that they are able to pass on, a rich history that continues over time.

We attach a photo of the watch illustrating, as always, the trend in value over the various years with the support of a graph. We report the cost that the object originally had and its equivalent to today, also pointing out how much it has revalued over the years.
This particular watch, considering a standard model, had a cost of 123,921 Lire in 1967 (corresponding to today's purchasing power of € 1216.41). As of today, it has reached a value of €20,000, about 16 times the initial figure.

This shows the great appreciation this watch has achieved, and thus the great investment it has been able to secure.
