PATEK PHILIPPE 5170J

We are talking to you today about the Patek Philippe 5170J.
As recounted in one of our previous articles about the manufacturer of the above-mentioned watch, it all began in 1938.
For many years now, the Patek Philippe has been synonymous with extreme reliability. Products, even of extreme complication, built to the highest standards of precision and a proper marketing study, such as not to inflate the market to guarantee the value of the asset, give owners the opportunity to use and pass on truly special objects.

The Patek Philippe 5170 J recalls the somewhat retro style of 1940s/50s chronographs. It has a 39-mm case in yellow gold and a square-scale, hand-stitched, chocolate brown alligator strap.
On the opalescent silver dial we find two subdials, applied gold hour markers and Roman numerals, and a chrono seconds hand in the center.
The watch has a mechanical hand-wound column-wheel movement, visible through the sapphire crystal case back, and is water-resistant to 3 atmospheres.
All this makes the watch not only extremely reliable, in keeping with the parent company's hallmarks, but also a simple, essential and extremely elegant timepiece.

What the world of watches is showing us is now evident, and in auctions we have been able to see the important value that these objects have realized.
This is giving visibility, and giving these timepieces a chance to be more and more known and appreciated for what they deserve.
As is our custom, we at the Bonanno Jewelers attach a photo of the watch.
